According to the PlayStation blog, Echoes of the Fallen introduces “a completely new narrative, battles, weapons, accessories, level cap, and more.” Players will accompany Clive and his companions as they encounter “a suspicious group of traders,” leading them to an abandoned Fallen tower known as the Sagespire, harboring “dreadful secrets.”

Purchasing Echoes of the Fallen or the game’s Expansion Pass not only rewards players with additional content but also grants them the iconic Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. Furthermore, it includes the “Away (1987)” Orchestrion Roll, allowing players to experience a chiptune version of the song as new hideout background music.
