In addition to the fresh world and revamped character dynamics, Mortal Kombat 1 introduces an exciting new feature called Kameos, which adds a new dimension to the fights. Once you’ve selected your character, you have the option to choose a guest fighter who will back you up during the battle.

By pressing a single button (R1 on PlayStation) and combining it with back and forward inputs, you can unleash a variety of different moves with your chosen Kameo. This feature includes Kameo throws and fatalities, providing greater versatility and flexibility in combat.

Need to counter an opponent’s jump attacks? Call upon Jax to execute a powerful suplex. Facing a projectile-flinging character? Summon Sonya to even the odds. The introduction of Kameos amplifies the strategic elements of fights, offering players more tactical choices to explore and master.
